Three things make a page: a username, which fixes your URL; blocks, which are the content; and a theme, which is the look. They live in three different places in the dashboard, so it is worth knowing which is which before you start clicking.
Claim a username
Your username is your address. The page is pulz.bio/yourname, the schedule page is pulz.bio/yourname/s, and every other public URL is built the same way.
Signing up
- Open /auth and choose how to sign in.Continue with Twitch creates the account and connects Twitch in the same step. Email and password creates the account on its own.
- On the first onboarding screen, pick Connect Twitch or Start manually.Connect Twitch takes your username from your Twitch login. Start manually lets you type your own.
- Type a username and read the line under the field. It is checked as you type. Use 3 to 25 characters: letters, numbers and underscores only. Capitals are stored lowercase.
- Continue through the remaining steps, or skip the ones you do not need. The order is username, about you, import, links, socials, theme. Everything on those screens can be changed later in the dashboard.
On the import step you can paste a Linktree or guns.lol URL and pulz pulls the links and socials across. Skip it if you are starting fresh.
Changing it later
Go to Settings and find the Username card. If Twitch is connected, the Sync checkbox on that card keeps your username matched to your Twitch login, and the edit button only appears once you switch Sync off. Changing the username changes your link, so update your handle on other platforms afterwards.
Add links and blocks
Open My Page in the sidebar. This is the content list, and every change here saves the moment you make it. There is no Save button. The Design panels are the ones that hold a draft until you save it.
Adding a block
- Press Add New, either in the top bar or at the bottom of the list.
- Pick a tile from Synced Content or Essentials.Synced Content is everything fed by a connected platform. Essentials is everything you write yourself.
- For a link, paste the URL and let the title and icon fill in, then press Add Link. The title is read from the page you pasted. You can overwrite it before or after adding.
- Drag the new row by its handle to put it where you want it.
What is in Essentials
- Add Link - any URL. Title and icon auto-fill.
- Add Music - a Spotify or Apple Music song, album or playlist. It becomes one link that keeps the cover art.
- Donation - the same thing as a link, pre-titled "Donate!". Paste your StreamElements, Streamlabs, Ko-fi or other tip page.
- Section Header - a title that groups the links under it.
- Spacer - blank space between blocks.
- Gear / Setup - a multi-row list of your hardware, each row with its own link. You can add more than one.
What is in Synced Content
- Stream Schedule and Featured Clips - need Twitch connected. One of each per page.
- Twitch Link - a button to your channel. Subscribe links to your sub page and needs Affiliate.
- Kick Link - only shown once Kick is connected.
- Newest Video, Recent Videos and Recent Shorts - need YouTube connected. One of each per page.
- Business Inquiry - a protected form instead of your email address. Turn inquiries on in the Inbox panel first.
- Media Kit - a button to your
/mpage. Enable the kit in the Media Kit panel first.
The controls on a row
- Grip handle on the left - drag to reorder.
- Title and URL - click the text to edit it in place.
- Toggle on the right - hides the block from your public page without deleting it.
- Click counter - clicks on that block in the last 24 hours.
- Display size - small or large, which is how much room the block takes on the page.
- Image or icon control - which one you get depends on Design, see the note below.
- Trash - asks you to confirm. Hold Cmd or Ctrl while clicking to skip the confirmation.
Fill in your profile
The text and images at the top of your page live in the Brand panel, not in My Page. Its cards are Display Name, Profile Image, Bio, Social Links, Tags and Business Contact.
With Twitch connected, your display name, bio, profile image and tags can be kept in step with Twitch automatically. Each one has its own sync switch, so you can let Twitch own your avatar while writing your own bio.
Pick a theme
Open Design > Themes and click a theme card. The preview on the right updates straight away, but nothing is published yet.
The Custom card at the start of the grid is not a theme. Clicking it takes you to Design > General so you can build the look yourself.
- General - Profile Image, Verified Badge, Title, Page Settings and the pulz footer.
- Text - the fonts for your title, your buttons and your page text.
- Buttons - icon style, button style, shadow and hover.
- Backgrounds - the background itself, an overlay on top of it, and image effects.
- Specials - how the Livestream, Schedule, Clips, YouTube Videos and YouTube Shorts blocks look.
A theme applies to your link-in-bio page, your schedule page and your media kit together, so the three do not drift apart.
Check it and share it
- Look at the preview on the right of the dashboard. On a smaller screen the preview is not beside the panel. Use the Preview item at the top of the sidebar instead.
- Click the pulz.bio/yourname button above the preview to copy your link.
- Press Share for the rest. The Share Your Page popover holds your page link, your schedule link, your media kit link and a QR code for the page.
FAQ
Why is my new block not on my page?
Check the toggle on its row in My Page. A hidden block stays in your dashboard list and off the public page. If the whole block type is missing, the platform it needs may not be connected.
I picked a theme but my page still looks the same.
A theme is only a draft until you press Save Changes in the top bar. If the button is greyed out, there is nothing unsaved and the change already went through.
Can I have two schedules or two clip sections?
No. You get one Stream Schedule, one Featured Clips and one of each YouTube block per page. The tile greys out once it is placed.
Can I change my username after people have the link?
Yes, in Settings > Username. The old link stops working, so change it before you publish it widely, and update your handle elsewhere afterwards. With Twitch connected you have to switch the Sync checkbox off first.
Where do I put my email so sponsors can reach me?
Do not put it on the page. Turn on inquiries in the Inbox panel and add the Business Inquiry block. It opens a protected form, and the messages land in your Inbox with your address never shown.
